Professional Nurse Development Program (PDNP)
The Professional Nurse Development Program is designed to encourage and assist nurses to further their professional development and to reward them for their commitment to professional growth and excellent patient care. It is also our belief that the achievements afforded through the PDNP instill a sense of pride and achieve in the work that nurses perform. The implementation and maintenance of this program also enhances the Lourdes Health System's ability to recruit and retain professional nurses who, in turn, contribute to the achievement of quality patient outcomes.
Participating nurses seek to improve through four levels of excellence that are based on a variety of criteria that focus on areas of clinical excellence, education, professional advancement, service, and research. The evidence-gathering period runs from July 1st through June 30th. Click on the links below to access the program information, guidelines and forms.
