Cancer Registry
Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County has a Cancer Registry which is staffed by Cancer Registrars, both certified and non-certified. The registrars report cancer statistics to the State Dept. of Cancer Registry as well as the Commission on Cancer's National Cancer Data Base. The Registry helps to set up Cancer Conferences and Cancer Committee meetings and provides reports and data to physicians and others. Patients are abstracted and placed into a database and followed for life.
